1928 1/4 turquoise-blue KGV Head, small multiple watermark, perf. 13½:12½, horizontal pair, the left stamp has the variety ‘thick 1 at right’ [position = 1R57], used – the stamp with the variety is in fault-free condition. Has a Starling certificate. This variety was repaired during the printings in the SM watermark, perf. 13½:12½ and is consequently rare.
