1923 ½d orange KGV Head, single watermark, perforated OS, with the variety ‘flaws in the left value tablet [early state]’ [plate position = 8R12], used – no thins, tears or bends. Has a Starling certificate. The early state of this flaw, which has large white patches in the value tablet, is quite rare and was quickly corrected to the less obtrusive state that appears in the ACSC catalogue.
