AUSTRALIA

1917 1d scarlet-red [aniline] KGV Head (shade = G18), horizontal strip of three with the varieties ‘rusted cliché [left unit]’ in a pair with ‘rusted cliché [right unit], [plate position = IV/33 + IV/34 + IV/35], used – the central stamp has a tear. Has a Starling certificate.

Only three se-tenant pairs of the rusted clichés in used condition are in private hands and none of them are in perfect condition.
