1924 1½d golden scarlet KGV Head, single watermark, used – no thins, tears or bends. Has a Starling certificate.

This is the only example of this shade that I have seen in single watermark. It has the distinctive golden sheen and strong fluorescent red UV reaction of the ‘golden scarlet’ shade that is common in the later 1½d and 2d values but is unrecorded in the single watermark printings.
