AUSTRALIA

1921 1d carmine-red KGV Head (shade = G31) + 3 x 2d deep yellow-orange KGV Heads. Used on a registered cover from Adelaide 2 MA 1921 to Dunedin, New Zealand. The 7d franking paid 4d for a double-weight letter to an Empire country plus 3d registration fee. The envelope has been neatly opened at the top and the stamps are sound.
