1926 1½d red KGV Head, small multiple watermark, perf. 14¼:14, a horizontal pair with a very large misplacement of the perforations at the base, used – no thins, tears or bends. A visually impressive piece, the stamps are 6mm taller than normal. The small number of such dramatic shifts of the comb perforation that exist have mostly been trimmed over the years to make fake imperforate examples. Has a Starling certificate.
